"Senior female executives are walking out of boardrooms, yet 70% would come back if supported appropriately". This insight from a survey by The Girls Club - Network is staggering and calls for action. Keep reading to discover how this eye-opening event inspired me to reflect on how as an experienced sleep coach, I can support women in leadership through improving their sleep.

Celebrating International Women’s Day, I attended an amazing event organized by The Girls Club shedding light on how Gen X women, despite breaking the glass ceiling, face challenges keeping their board and high-powered positions and decide to quit.
It's imperative for businesses to recognize these issues and evolve strategies to support senior female executives in creating safe, inclusive workplaces.
Moreover, research reveals that women often struggle with sleep more than men, impacting their productivity and well-being:
- Women experience more fatigue and sleepiness, needing longer sleep durations and more time in deep sleep than men
- Menopausal symptoms like hot flashes, depression, and sleep apnea contribute to sleep deprivation.
- Women have more trouble sleeping due to cramps, headaches, and bloating during menstruation.
- Pregnancy and motherhood lead to poorer sleep due to caregiving responsibilities.
As an entrepreneur, sleep coach, and author, I'm committed to supporting professionals in achieving better sleep for enhanced productivity and well-being. In particular, I want to empower women to thrive in their leadership roles. Better sleep correlates with improved mental health, performance, and leadership.
