If you struggle to fall asleep or frequently wake up during the night, you may want to try the following herbal remedies. These are our favourites and work well for many people. That said, consult your doctor or professional herbalist to make sure there are no contra-indications for you. Follow instructions on the packaging or get advice from a professional health therapist or doctor, to work out the right dosage for you. Everyone is unique and has different sensitivity to herbal remedies. Start with a low dosage and increase carefully with professional guidance.  

A brilliant Valerian and Hops tincture (Dormeasan) - we love it

Dormeasan is a sleep remedy from A. Vogel made from herbal extracts of freshly harvested, organically grown Valerian root and Hops. This liquid herbal tincture is very helpful to treat of sleep disturbances, stress and anxiety, and to calm the nervous system. Take it before bedtime diluted in a tiny bit of water to get restful and natural sleep, and not have to to go to the toilet during thenight. As long as you don't take too much of it, you should not feel groggy in the morning. The taste is quite strong but if you dilute it in a bit of juice instead, it may be easier for you to drink it. Generally recommended dosage: 30 drops in a little water 30 mins before bedtime

It is an oil which you can consume, made with CBD - a plant compound extracted from the Hemp plant which stands for Cannabidiol.
